Billing Policy

1. Subscription Plans

We offer academic access passes to the KDE E-Book Platform for both students and instructors:

• Student Semester Pass (6 Months): Granting reading access, auto-graded quizzes, and tracking tools for 6 months.
• Student Annual Pass (12 Months): Full platform access for exactly 12 months.
• Professor Semester Pass (6 Months): Course creation, slide uploads, quiz builders, and student analytics for 6 months.
• Professor Annual Pass (12 Months): Unlimited course creation and full curriculum analysis tools for 12 months.

2. Payment Processing & Security

All transactions are processed in Turkish Lira (TRY) through secure third-party payment gateways.

• We do not store your raw credit or debit card details on our servers. All payment inputs are tokenized directly by merchant providers.
• You are responsible for ensuring that the credit card information provided is valid, active, and has sufficient funds.

3. Non-Recurring Billing Model

To protect our users from unexpected charges, we use a non-recurring billing model:

• Your subscription will not auto-renew at the end of the term.
• When your pass expires, your access will be suspended until you manually purchase a renewal or extension.
• Renewing an active pass will extend your current expiration date by the length of the new pass (e.g. adding 6 or 12 months to your remaining balance).

4. Taxes & Transaction Fees

All prices listed on the pricing pages are inclusive of value-added taxes (VAT) in accordance with Turkish Tax Law, unless stated otherwise. Any exchange rate conversion fees or international transaction fees charged by your bank are your sole responsibility.
